I understand the price increase is inevitable but some of these just seem inaccurate it is so insane. Stormraven looks the craziest to me. Currently: 66.00 as of 6/4: 82.50 +20%

Well... That stinks.  Here I was thinking they had sorta reached a plateau, with reasonable prices for most big kits... and... tolerable? prices for small kits... But nearly 60 bucks for a predator?!?  Ouch.  Good thing I love me some Privateer Press!  I wonder if there are any other up and coming tabletop games...

To paraphrase Billy Bob Thornton, "Games Workshop's hard, guys. I mean, it really is. You can love it but, believe me, it don't always love you back. It's kind of like dating a German chick, you know?"

Well at lease Wood Elves didn't go up too much, I feel bad for Grey Knight players.

It also seems that wood elf "warriors" have gone DOWN $10. I just wonder what they mean as warriors.

Lord of the Rings is what those Wood Elf Warriors are oh King of Elves. I don't see why they have these increases especially on some of the models. 75$ for a Land Raider now :/. I know the meta-game doesn't support Land Raiders now but seriously 58$ for a Space Marine Tank.

I think 6th edition may just end my 40k Days :/.

Chase, please sell FW with a small mark up.  It will be cheaper for us gamers.

I second that.  I have bought most of my Orks on ebay (AoBR rocks) and will hopefully be filling out my Dark Angels with the new boxed set stuff (If the Dark Angels in the new starter rumor is true).  ForgeWorld stuff is something that I would actually buy in the store.

25% increase in alot of kits is pretty harsh.

GW needs to lube up and pull their heads out of their ass. Who are they fooling with the prices?! I love that an Eartle model kit with options for the kit would cost so much less but can not be used because its not GW product. GW just sucks at keeping its clientel happy reminds me of Cryptic Enterrainment.

Looks like GW has changed their mind.

The new list of updates is in the original post.

The order of items is different.  I haven't spent any time looking at the new one though.

The raised the price on the Whirlwind to just shy of 60 bucks.  That thing is so good I don't even carry it.

That's saying something....

Well, they probably just reordered it to "hide" that some models went up 20%.  17 pages is a lot of work for a neckbeard to sift through.

This about ruins any chance of me starting 40k again (unless we and Gw are just on the wrong page and they accept monopoly money)

Ya Seriously Wes Necrons are a pretty reliable army now with a variant of strategies. The price increase sucks but you got Doom Scythes coming out this month and they are going to be less than a Space Marine Tank.

I already have most of the models I will ever need, but this is really annoying because I fear it will drive potential players of 40k to other games.  I would hate to have to start OVER with a new army and a new wargame...  but then... it might be kinda fun...

I really don't see this happening. Once people make the investment into 40k, a few more models seem like a reasonable price to stay current. Newer players have no preconceived notions of what's good and bad. I'm sure 6th will tweak somethings and certainly some people, but to me a new edition just seems like an excuse to get more flyers into the game and make people buy new rulebooks.
