New Store in Plainville, MA!
« on: August 03, 2010, 11:12:18 AM »
Hey everyone,

As you may have heard by now, Battleground is expanding by opening up a second store in Plainville, MA. It's located at 25 Taunton Street (Rt 152). It's a really nice plaza with plenty of parking, wedged right in the pocket of 495, 95, and Rt 1.

We are planning to open on September 1st, followed by a Grand Opening Celebration a few weeks later.

I'll be posting updates as the store comes together.

Derek this is awesome news.  The only sad thing for me is that this means I'll have to make the new store my home gaming location and probably won't get to BG Abington much anymore.

Tons of congratulations coming your way on the new location.  I know you have been working towards this for a long time and it is really great to see good things happen to amazing people.

Congrats!

Even though it steals Jonathan from WoW Cards :)

This is very good news.  I know a few FoW players from the FoW New England Yahoo group who are in RI..."Battleground South" might become a new destination for them...

Awesome! BG Plainville is only 15 mins away...instead of 45 mins away in Abington!

I too have to lend my SUPER excitement over this news... Plainville is only 8 miles from my house and it beats the 45min ride to Abington.  Also I would love to state the Battleground Plainville will be the new HQ for Strategic Command War-gaming Club.  www.wargamingclub.com

I am planning on having events and helping out where I can.

Derek, Congrats on the new location and growing your business!!!  Nothing but good wishes and much success!

;D Little late on this, but grats, Battleground's! You'll probably be seeing more of me on the Plainville side of things. Not that I'm particularly memorable.

Anyways, yeah, I'll try to make it to the opening celebration! Hopefully school doesn't get too much in the way.

You need to post some video or pictures of the place for those of us who haven't seen it.

You need to post some video or pictures of the place for those of us who haven't seen it.

I've seen some on Facebook on the official BG group.  I also have some on my blog at Battleground Games Plainville Pictures if you don't have Facebook.

I think Derek shot some video, now that you mention it, because one of the pics shows him with the camera.
