 1) NEW Plastic Dark Elf Warrior Box(Makes Spearmen, swordsmen, & crossbowmen)
 2) NEW PLastic Dark Riders/Warlocks
 3) NEW Plastic Blackguard/Executioners
 4) NEW Plastic Coldone Chariot/Scroungerunner(Pulled by horses)
 5) NEW Plastic Cauldron of Blood/Blood Throne
 6) NEW Plastic Hydra/Kraken
 7) NEW Plastic Witch Elf box

They are getting a complete reboot, I suspect more fantasy armies will too since a lot of the model ranges are old and ugly.

I"ve read all the rumor pages. I don't think they are getting that many new kits. I'll believe it when i see pictures, or a GW order form.

It's my understanding Fantasy itself is getting a huge reboot.

Ben, what have you heard so far? I just read an interesting rumor that the next edition of fantasy will move the timeline 200 years later, in a post cataclysmic era. Some of it sounded like they are getting allies(like 40k), steam punk technology, and flying machines.

Fantasy players already complain how cannons are overpowered, & how magic doesn't scale very well.

Thats not the point though, the point is that it is a general consensus that Fantasy doesn't sell nearly as well as 40k.. not by a long shot.

Fantasy doesn't do well here in the states but I thought it was popular in the UK. Either way, I don't care much for the changes in rules over the years but I use to love playing vampire counts back in.. 5th I think it was when you could play different blood lines. Nothing made me happier than fielding a ws10 blood dragon fitted with crazy magic items slaying anything in close combat while spamming magic spells.

Yea they need to do a better job diversiving each individual book too, but I think they'll probably head back that way. I just wish there was an eta on 9th ed.

From what I understand the DE release is basically going to be over two months.  Almost the whole line is getting redone.

Fantasy is more popular in 40k than europe.  Opposite here.

Rumor is 9th edition in july 2014.

This consists of everything I know.  Also, the White Dwarf will be in on Friday.
