Title: New Forgeworld Book
Post by: Chase on February 04, 2010, 05:45:33 PM
Steve D brought in his new book.  The thing is bad ass.  Seems like it's got new (or reprinted) rules for a bunch of stuff.

The new big Demon looks like fun.  It looks like the normal Reaver thing might cost a little less?

There's all kinds of wacky looking IG tanks.

AFAIK... Zero tyranids right?

Some of our rules from the old Aphalon Project book could use some love.

As if Tyranids weren't broken enough ;-)

Come to think of it, I don't think I saw any Tyranid stuff.  :(

I am sorry I pointed out that you couldn't perform a simple Google search. It is true, but it wasn't very nice of me to point it out.

If you have to explain what you are making a joke about, that's just not funny.

Imperial Armor XIII,  Page 666.  They do not have possession if you don't possess one.   ;)

I love a good Top Gun reference.

Yes!  Wonderful!  Great idea!  Let's start a new discussion on how to score this thing!

((  Runs for cover...  ))

Can someone bring in a gun so I can shoot myself in the face?

If I end up going in to the store tomorrow I'll have to have Steve D lend me his book long enough to read through it.  Are they any good?

Actually, they have some cool ways to resolve fliers crashing and they even have one called "boots on the ground" where troops only score.  There are also more ways to speed up apoc games by tweaking the rules (making D weapons more deadly to super heavies, etc.)

They are in the back of the book.

I was just busting your balls.  I just started giggling when I read the "boots on the ground" rule and had to post a sarcastic comment.
