Title: Small Request

I am working on my Orks (finally), and learned that I am tragically short on some slotted bases for my metal minis. Does anyone have 7 small slotted round bases? I will gladly trade no-slotted bases in return. Your assistance is appreciated.

Hey Drew,

One thing I did when I needed slotted bases, was cutting out the slots myself with an Xacto Knife.  Some of the bases may have the two parallel edges underneath, so it wouldn't be hard to guide the knife along it, and cutting out the slots.  Just be sure to file down the edges when you're done cutting them, b/c they will need it.

Unfortunately they don't have the etching underneath, it was the first thing I checked for. But thanks for the advice. I know the base packs don't come with any slotted bases, otherwise I'd just grab one of them instead.

i have plenty of small slotted bases and im accually running out of the nonslotted ones, will you be around on friday or saturday to trade?

Bring the bases by whenever, Drew.  I can hold them for you and swap them with Bry whenever.

Also, I heard you've made some progress on the painting front.  Is it realistic at all that you can have 4000 points painted for the Megabattle?  We have had 7 Disorder players drop.

Anyways, I'll talk to you about this tomorrow or Wednesday.

I'd love to play in the MegaBattle this year, but I have two limiting factors preventing me from doing so. First, and the most easily solved is I don't have 4000 points. Second, and most important, I am still very new to the game, far to new to be involved in a game like this. It is already a large and cumbersome game with out adding in a total rookie to the fold. Hell, my first real game is going to be this coming Wednesday with Cookie.
