I'd definitely be up for another doubles tournament.

I would also be up for another tournament, but if it's doubles, all I ask is that the "phase out" rule is taken away, otherwise I don't think I could get a partner.

Ard Boyz is May 15th or something, if we get it this year (and I don't see why we wouldn't).

We are going to do a Fantasy Doubles tournament in early May.  Maybe we can get a 40k Doubles tourney set up for late May or early June.  We will see...

I vote Early June. Late May sounds like Memorial day weekend, which probably wouldn't be too good for a lot of us.

Early June is a good option.. gives a little more time to get stuff done too.....

Cheers,

May 15 is indeed 'Ard Boyz.  Unfortunately, I'll be in NJ that weekend playing in my area.  If you guys hold a tourney in June though, I'll be happy to join in.

Make sure the first thing you say when you walk in is;

Where can I park my car?

You could challenge them to a nice friendly 8000 point game, then put nothing on the table but "supah heavy walkahs."

It's a little off topic but what the heck since we already are;

My wife and I lived in South Carolina for a year or so, and we lived in an apartment complex where most of the people were from the northeast, and there was a local store that sold only confederacy stuff, like everywhere, floor to ceiling flag's, pins, bumpersticker's, etc. Not a single american flag anywhere.

I created an outstanding dare in the complex that no one ever took! The dare was to pull up in the parking lot with your original state's license plates and walk in and say. "Hey, this is pissa!" "Is it ok if my car is parked there?" and finally "Hey, where's the nearest bar". Who ever could get all three saying out and get out alive wins.

Never had any taker's

P.S. A tourney would be cool july would be awesome!

Rob, it's a road trip.  I'll ready the truck so we can go incognito.   I'll throw mud (of the Devlan type) on my plates to obscure the Massachusetts part.

Is the Double Tournament still on for June 5th?

Yeah, consider that date set in stone.  I'll post about it after the Fantasy event which I still have a ton of work to do on.  Fortunately, the 40k event will require very little modification on my end! :)

Let your friends know about it and feel free to pick your partners, etc.

usually these events end up being 1250 a person.  Split force org chart.

1 HQ
3 Troops
1 fast
1 Elite
1 Heavy

*with a floating choice for either player to take in the elites, heavy, and fast categories.
