came across these today and was wondering wat ppl thought about them

My problems:
1. that is very hard on the eyes to read as it skips all over the place
2. The Primarchs weapons are innacurate. Taking from the cannon and artwork, Russ should have a massive power spear, Sanguinis the same, and Guiliman should not have the gauntlets of Ultimar, I dont think they were discovered until after the heressy.
-
Well Alex, How does this apply to you sir? Blood Ravens are Primarch Unknown are they not?
-
Steve,
Russ should not have a spear. It is accurate for him to be weilding a sword. The spear was given to him by the Emporer but the fluff states that he didnt like the spear and never used it. His main weapon of choice was his sword.
Oh ya and these Primarch rules blow ass. Please tell me why a PRIMARCH stats are are only a tad better then a Wolf Lord? Its a Primarch supreme being, etc...
-
i know that murph just wanted to see wat others thought u dont think i would be cheesie enugh to usany of these in a game and techniclly there primarch is the thousand sons cause thats the blood ravens gene seed
-
It would depend on the point cost of the Primarchs. But overall none of them are game changing enough to unbalance a game.
-
While i am not total against working on Primarch rules...I will say that YES they are supreme beings but Fulgrim almost got his butt kicked by a Wraithlord! except for the power of his chaos sword he would have been toast. Who knows what their stats would be like. It would take someone who has read all the books and knew all about the primarchs to even come up with stats... I would leave it up to GW to make up their minds about it and create rules if they wanted to have some fluff thingy.
-
Moon, you are the king of finding bogus 27th party stats/rules/rumors.
-
Actually SC back in rogue trader when I started they did have stats for the primarchs made by GW. GW at the time said that the Primarchs stats were 10's accrss the board. But I would assume that was just the lazy way out which seems to be an ongoing thing for GW.
-
i think the stats are accurate in generally depicting a primarch IN RELATION to an in-game space marine. if anyone is familiar with the movie marines, you know that if a space marine were given stats that represent how they are accoring to the fluff, your basic marine is 100 pts. now, a 15 pt marine seems reasonably in-line with the primarch rules presented. what i don't like is how they lack diversity.
and uh, why did they make alpharius absurdly good and guilliman so plain...?

I support Khan riding a rhino into battle.
And by riding, I mean on top of it.

Blood Angels rule.
That is the most awful and simultaneously awesome thing I have seen in a while.
My problem with those rules is that they are from Bolter and Chainsword.
-
shouldnt Alpharious be represented with 2 stat lines and 2 models?
