Title: necrons?

necron: "ill shoot you with my gauss flayer"
terminator: "thats not a gun..." (whips out an assault cannon) this is a gun"

Post by: Lykosan on May 14, 2010, 02:51:22 PM: All Codex remain Legal until a new Edition of said Codex is printed. Only way they are disallowed is if the TO says so.

Everything is usable, and they're still actually very competitive.

Post by: jesterofthedark on May 17, 2010, 04:49:47 PM: yea, they aren't bad in this edition. The gauss weapons just can't get lucky and pop a vehicle anymore. They can still cripple it with mass shots like intended.

They still hold water in tourney's, ya just have to watch out for phase out. Its an auto win for your opponent, which I think is really lame. But, in the doubles D & Chase remove the phase out so as to not make the game horrible for that team.

FYI, the rumor mill has been fairly consistant in saying that the C'tan (star gods) will be removed from the codex and re-ruled as Apocalypse units. Thus granting these guys the power to rock jock.
