Title: Two nubs who want to learn from the pros
Post by: The Bobastic on July 18, 2010, 04:09:13 PM
Me and my buddy just started playing orcs and space marines, were a bit confused on the rules and was hoping to find someone who could clear things up for us. I played Tyranids a few years ago and my buddy just started, some things I remember some I don't. Thanks.

Lots of us Battle Ground Vets tend to show up on Saturday Nights. I personaly tend to show up when i get a bloody day off which is usualy wensdays or Thursdays. Ask for Steve D. Paul Gaughran, Dave Haber-Mattie, Rob Sims, Nick Hough, or Kevin Nolan. One of us can point you in the right dirrection.

if you want a game with a level appropriate opponent then i will play and show you the basics, which i have down so you can ask the pros more advanced questions

I'll be there tomorrow.

I get paid to play Warhammer 40k professionally.  Since you are new to the community, I can give you a discount on lessons.

Well played indeed...  Well, who am I to deny the BG community a bit of humor?  And you know what's funnier is I think I actually had it right once, and then edited it before actually submitting the post.  :P

I'd call that a tie.  You had the contraction there but used the wrong base.

Edit: lul typo.

No relation to any of these quotes, but Me and my buddy and maybe his brother are going to be there sometime tonight. Just wondering who's going to be there, though it may or may not help because I have no idea who you are. Also the people I've met formally are Moony and Murph. Informally I've met Cookie and Allen.

Warning do not stare at these posts too long you may fall in...

Are they down to being one word wide in the center post?

Bump.

Are we there yet....?  :D

The end is nigh!

Me and my buddy just started playing orcs and space marines, were a bit confused on the rules and was hoping to find someone who could clear things up for us. I played Tyranids a few years ago and my buddy just started, some things I remember some I don't. Thanks.

No vindicator threat thanks, that was god awful. This is just funny, well to me anyway. I do agree with Steve D though, this thread makes no sense as to how to help two new guys.
