So with the release of the GK Codex what happens to the Daemon Hunters book and the Witch Hunters book? Does the GK book override them? Is it another book entirely?
How is this going to be handled?

As of right now it seems that he GK codex is he new daemonhunters codex while he witch hunters codex is still a valid choice

The Megabattle demands an answer to this question. I'm hung up on it.

We know GW is trending away from Allies. However, they did a big disservice not answering this question ahead of time.
My gut says no, but I don't have a single argument for that. It's all based in fear and ignorance. It's probably fine. In fact, if GK were the most broken thing at Mega-Battle, then something is definitely wrong!

I'm not too worried about how powerful anything is, I'm more worried about the endless number of questions people are going to ask about them and how they pair up / interact with other stuff.
Do I list all 3 books as playable options? Do I not list Daemon Hunters? When the older books reference GK's and say one thing, do we go with that or do we go with whatever (if anything) the new book says?
We want each player to operate out of a single codex if at all possible, but as I understand it, certain armies can "request" GK's to come aid them or something... I'm not sure if the rules governing that have changed at all, but if the old books are legit... who knows.

Daemonhunters is replaced. Witch Hunters is still good.

Ian is right here the Whitch Hunter codex will still be a valid choice. The Daemonhunter codex has in turn been replaced with the new Grey Knight codex. So keeping that in mind you can no longer have Grey Knights as allies and so on.
At this point the Daemonhunter codex is null and void.

It's like the day the LatD list was retired... I'm having flash backs. :'(
