Title: New D&D organized play program starting in September
Post by: filthgrinder on May 17, 2011, 11:08:14 AM
From WotC's site:
http://wizards.com/DnD/Article.aspx?x=dnd/4news/20110517

They have officially announced a new organized play program, "D&D Lair Assault". While they haven't released all the details yet, we know a little from the earlier descriptions of the program. It is supposed to run like Encounters, except it'll be a "mega" encounter that is aimed to be really challenging. Instead of being aimed at new and casual players, this program is aimed at experienced players.

It's also available to be scheduled at any time during the month, and is supposed to be attempted multiple times. The idea is that players will have to run through it multiple times in order to complete the encounter.

I'm up for playing or DMing if Abington runs the program.

You've gotta smoke some players every once in a while.  :)

This does look fun, and I hope it is regular 4e and not essentials.
