Title: WFB Fri/Sat 11/25-26 (ya know, the warhammer game that isn't 40k)

Post by: MM3791 on November 24, 2011, 09:16:49 PM: Wow 16 views and no takers? My list isn't even cheesy (no knights, no chosen, no tzeench marks). I'm looking for a smallish(1500pt), fun friendly game.. if anyone changes their mind letme know. If I get enough takers I will be open to doubles ;D

It sounds like a fair number of people will be around Plainville on Saturday, I'm sure at least someone will have WHFB stuff in addition to other games.

Cool that sounds great, I wasn't sure if Tues night fantasy was a regular thing or not.. glad to hear that it has a steady group of players. As far as today is concerned (11/26), I would definitely like to play a game with you if your available, I will be checking these boards so just letme know.

Post by: Rhys on November 30, 2011, 11:47:32 AM: i feel bad about that game man, that was a pretty rough intro to 8th ed. if i had known, i would have brought my beastmen instead lol. just keep at it, warriors are a tough army. you'll do well when you get used to the rules changes and tweak the list to suit. i look forward to another game some time.

Definitely don't feel bad, I thought the game was pretty fun (my highlight was killing your lvl 2 and demonettes lol) I never fought daemons before so it was a good practice match.. I feel I mostly just need get better at combo charges (especially when I'm outnumbering the enemy forces) as well as bigger unit sizes. I think we can both agree that I freakishly failed 90% of my leadership tests too lol.. I definitely look forward to facing your daemons again.

yeah that was weird. welcome to the centrality of the bsb. like i said, once you get used to the rules changes and bring your army list into the new edition, your warriors will be a force to be reckoned with. and yeah, killing my level 2 like that was ridiculous lol.
