Title: Moving Sale
Post by: Banosby on June 26, 2012, 08:57:33 PM
As some of you know, I'll be moving soon, and I won't have much space to store all my Warhammer stuff. So before putting it up on Ebay/Bartertown, I figure I'd let you all have a shot at it. I'm not looking to make a killing here; any reasonable offer is likely to be accepted. I'm obviously looking for store credit, and you'd need to get anything at Plainville (or convince Chase to bring it up to Abington for you). I have too much stuff to give a detailed list, so I'll generally describe what I have, and if anything interests you, let me know and I'll get you specifics. Most everything is unpainted, but there are a few exceptions.

Tons of old DE models, including I believe 9 Raiders/Ravagers with custom cut foam to fit them. I think I have most of the old line. I also have a Forgeworld Eldar/Dark Eldar Void Dragon Phoenix that is assembled, unpainted, and apparently missing its base.

A bunch of Valhallans. Mostly Heavy Weapon Teams (I have a ton of these for some reason.) but also other odds and ends.

A bunch of SM Bikes and assorted Ravenwing accoutrements.

A bunch of the old IG Stormtroopers. The ones that came out after the Beret guys but before the Kasrkin.

A bunch of Sisters of Battle. Most anything out of the codex that isn't a meltagun/Repentia/Named Charecter/Vehicle.

Bits. Tons and tons of bits. 40k, Fantasy, all kinds of stuff. If anyone wants, I'll sell it by the pound or something.

Gaming stuff. Templates, dice, that kind of thing.

So, what Ravenwing stuff do you have.  I would be interested in that.

@Hud: Assuming you're serious, how much of what? There would be a lot of permutations of things I'd sell for $18.

@GMSteve: 40ish. A surprisingly high number of special weapons; I think I was on a melta-kick when I picked them up.

@Robert: There are five *almost* complete upgrade sprues from what I take to be the Ravenwing Battlebox and the bikes have a lot of Ravenwing stuff on them (well, the ones that are put together do anyhow). I think I also have some Ravenwing bits.

Anyone who wants to have a look at what I've got prior to making offers, just let me know and I can bring it by the store.

How much would you want for all the glory Boys?

Dunno. Let me do some market research and I'll get back to you later tonight.

@Steve: I have 20 normal guys, 21 with special weapons, and 1 Sergent with a Plasma Pistol.

So that would retail for approximately $232.25 .

-20% 'GW charges stupid prices that no one should pay' = 185.8

- 10% 'BG is awesome' = 167.22

- $17.22 'intoxicate while posting' = $150.00

Sound reasonable?

How much would you like for that Void Dragon Pheonix?
And do you possibly have the Codex for the Elders?

@Hud: No codex, sorry. And...$90 for the Phoenix?

@Trooper: I dunno, I'll do some math and get back to you. Someone else also got to them first, but he's only going to take a couple of the Heavy Weapon Teams, so there will still be over 20 of those left I think, as well as the normal guys.

@Steve: Most are bare metal. A couple are still in the package. And...I'm guessing a dozen or so are in the early stages of painting. When do you want to pick them up?

I'm moving at the end of July. But I'll be there tomorrow if you're around. I'll bring them, and if you aren't, no worries; we can get in touch at that point and figure something out.

How much for a pound of Fantasy and a pound of 40K bits, with if possible, extra space marine?  ;D

I can believe I just got to ask that question!  What fantasy armies are present in the bits?  I would especially be interested in Empire, Dwarves, Chaos, and High or Wood Elf...

If you are going to be at Planeville tomorrow, I would like to get a look at your bikes and ravenwing stuff.  I might be interested in them.  Hopefully, I will be able to make it in.

Oh, and for my Orks, how much are a pound of 40k bitz going to go for?

If your coming to plainville at 6/28/2012 then look for a kid, i would like to buy a few pounds worth of bitz

@Steve: Dunno, what kind of installments are we talking about here? I don't have a problem as long as there is some sort of general timetable.

@Robert: Sure thing.

@Everyone: I appear to have more Fantasy bits than I thought and less 40k bits. The 40k bits appear to be organized by codex and I don't really have ton of anything. I'll just bring the 40k stuff along when I'm at the shop and anyone who's interested can take a look. I apparently have between two and three pounds of Fantasy bits, and they look to be primarily Imperial...or whatever the human types are called. A lot of guys with guns/bows and what appears to be a ton of horses. There are also what appear to be some old metal Orcs. As for prices, I don't rightly know...ebay prices are all over the place for bulk bits...if people want to make me offers, I'll be happy to entertain them.

I'll be at the store tomorrow evening and apparently sometime Friday during the afternoon, and I"ll just bring a bunch of stuff for people to pick through (and of course I'll bring the specific things I've told people I'll bring).

Simon i completely forgot you said you had a bunch of Valhallans tonight!! (i blame my haze of painkillers/muscle relaxers)

If they survived your yardsale i'd like to take a look at them next time your going to be in Plainville and maybe take them off your hands for some store credit.

Thanks,
-Jason

Do you also have the IA book that has the eldar pheonix datasheet in it?

If you don't find another buyer for the Phoenix, I might be interested, but I'll yield to other more active players.

Hmmm...not sure about posting a picture. Forums confuse my old man brain. If you pm me an email address, I can send one along. I can also say it looks a lot like the one on the FW website:)

And sorry, no IA book to speak of.

Still have your DE models available?

I'm meeting up with someone tomorrow afternoon who's taking the flyer and having a look at the rest. But I imagine I'll still have a lot left.

Any chance of you being at Plainville Tuesday at 5ish? If not, we could meet up some other time for you to have a look at anything you're interested in.
