Title: Hive Fleet Ophiotaurus!
Post by: andalucien on December 10, 2013, 11:02:51 PM
Howdy yall, I'm in the touching up phase for the Trygon for my new Hive Fleet Ophiotaurus (hoping that some of my models are still useful with the new codex!)  Coming soon to a Battlegrounds near you.

Does it light up under a black light?

It should, yes, although I haven't tried it yet.

I'm working slowly on a homemade "hive ship" (display board) which will also illuminate the battlefield with blacklight :)

Parts of it look metallic because of the glare. I imagine it is not. You, sir, need better lighting or a photobox. Great old-school black to red fade on the tail spike, though.

It actually is metallic-ish.... it's greyscale shaded underneath, with pearlescent green-to-purple sheen on top.
