Just curious, thanks!
-
I think in May they are doing the narrative event.
-
I'd be curious as to what sort of event would actually get the Abington crew to turn out. 1k doubles was usually a popular choice, but what I wonder do the crew at BG have in mind?
-
I have a 3000 point, "no holds barred" type of thing in mind for Abington this month. Scoring system might be a bit different than normal, however.

It could be more than 5 if people choose to turn out.

I hope its a great turnout. BG needs a good 40K turnout since lately there has been allot of lost interest in the game.

It would give me some motivation to finish my Monolith Stompa.

The bad turn outs are not BGs fault. Every turni ive been to are great experiences. The poor attendance is more to do with tau/eldar cheese than anything else. Who wants to play a turni that no matter how good you are as a table top commander, you just can't win. At least with a big no holds barred format every players chances get better and you get to bring out those toys that only ever show up at the big Apocalypse games. I am excited to play at this event. Win or lose, its gonna be a great time.

Except most of the top lists are not tau, nor eldar, so...

Really? Cause most results ive seen have been tau, eldar, demons, and smurfs but then for some reason not all results get posted and I dont go to every turni so im not 100% on that. Hell maybe with the new guard codex out things will change. (I doubt it. )
