Just something I have been thinking about for a while and just wanted to throw it out there for some fun. Orks (do we still even count as being in the game universe anymore?) are going to get our 4th edition codex updated at some point. Rumours say somewhere between right now and the heat death of the universe.
Most codexes (codecii??, codexus??, eh, I have no idea how this is supposed to be pluralized), have had significant point changes (mostly downward). There really has not been a ton of rumors on Ork point costs, so I figured we could do a points pool on my collection of orks. Winner gets bragging rights...or if that is not enough, I will throw at you some random miniature that I really do not feel like painting.
Minus Lords of War (MekBoy Stompa-650points) and Super Heavies (BlastaBomma-410points) I have 5854 base points of orks (not including upgrades and whatnot on the magnetized part of my collection), which breaks down to
Type/Models/Points
Troop/136/835
Elite/92/1885
Fast Attack/29/840
Fortification/1/50 (Orky Quad Gun)
Heavy Support/44/1199
HQs/9/1045
Have fun

Ork rumors surface the same time as Astra Militarium.. they were heavily rumored for June.

They are supposed to be coming out in June along with a new 2 player battle box that has orks and blood angels. In the mean time just try out the stuff on the dread mob list forge world made available. You can field 15 killa Kans. The Mega dreads and meka dreads are surprisingly survivable. Seriously I've had one tie up two squads of thunder hammer terminators for almost a whole game. And they can be made better with Big Meks. Zhadsnark da Rippa is a great biker boss and can work even if you don't have a ton of bikes. Warkoptas are a ton of fun to use and hands down THE best way to transport burna boyz. Big Trakks with Supa kannons are great at killing heavier armour. Pain bosses open up some interesting tactics for green tide lists. There's tons of awesome stuff. I almost don't want the new book to come out because I'm having so much fun making the dread mob stuff work.

More than one codex = codices.

That sounds very possible, all soft cover codices are fair game. Blood Angels & Space Wolves came out after the then IG during 5th ed, so I'd think one of them would get the September release slot that SM got last year.
