Last year they had a 1500 singles event for those que no va to Nova.

I would suggest going it is an awesome time.  Did I mention that Im running the Trios tourny there this year?  Do you want to play with all the big toys and all the rules?  We got the tourny for you!  Your 2k solo army can be unbound - bound have stronghold, escalation etc!!  Come show us how just how good "pure" 40k can be.  Trios will be held Thurs morning of NOVA.

How does one prep for Nova? Perhaps by playing 40k? Maybe in a tournament setting to best approximate what Nova will be like? Ideally at the premier New England gaming store where all the good players are?

One of the two August events has been posted.

It will be designed to loosely resemble a NOVA "practice" event in that we will be using their primer scenarios and their clarifications to the psychic phase.  We will not be using their exact army construction rules (we're allowing FW stuff) or their FAQ.
