Title: Warmachine/Hordes Opponent List MK2!
Post by: Ian Mulligan on September 07, 2010, 09:35:22 PM
That old opponent list was... old. Really old. Given that MK2 has seen the departure and return of many, many regulars, I think a new list is in order. Please post your army, how many points you can field, when you're usually available, and which store you call home!

Consolidated list from thread:

the_trooper - Silly amounts of Cygnar and Mercenaries. Abington. Available Thursdays.
Ian Mulligan - 100+ points of Khador and Cryx. Abington. Available Thursdays, some weekends.
Matt Thomas - 50 points of Mercenaries. Abington. Availability varies.
Ed - 50+ points of Retribution and Legion. Abington. Availability varies.
Vermillion - 35 points of Retribution. Abington. Availability varies.
kialindo - 50+ points of Cygnar. Abington. Available Wednesdays, Thursdays.
rooneg - 35+ points of Cygnar.
Sir_Prometheus - 50 points of Cryx. Plainville.
Erich - Trollbloods and Retribution. Plainville.
Frosthydra - 50+ points of Cryx. Plainville. Available Saturdays.
canadianone - 50 points of Mercenaries. Plainville. Available Thursdays.

Circle-35
My availability changes each week depending on how much overtime I get. I try to not do any overtime on Saturdays. I can get to either store for a game

Casual hello, act naturally...

Cygnar 35+ points

Khador 35+ Points

(I'll check my totals at some point)

Prefer to play 35 points (or lower if people don't have that many, starting out, ect, ect).

Generally in Abington Thursday Nights, and Plainville Saturday Morning/Afternoon.

Hello all,

probably ~100 points in menoth with a few mercenaries thrown in for flavor.

I am still fairly new to the game so im trying to stick to the 25-35 point games. I have a 50 point list, but i'd prefer smaller games as i still need lots of practice.

I am probably coming around the Plainville store mostly, should be most saturdays I might stop by it random other nights, maybe even stop by the abington store if thats where more people are playing.

Cryx is my main faction and I have over 300 points of it so yeah any size game.

Trolls: up to 2 caster 100 point games.

Circle:  Any size game.

I am willing to go to Either store to play.  It is easier for me to get to Plaineville however.  Just let me know in advance and I am sure we can set something up.

Hey, this Allan.

I've got 100 and change points of Cryx, and they're my main army right now.
Other wise, I have 35 pts of Legion, but I don't play them that often.

I play mostly up in Cambridge at Pandemonium, but I'll come down for tournaments to stomp some face.

I'll have to check out pandemonium some time as I have never been.  Is there a particular night which people gather to play warmachine?  Wouldn't want to make the drive if there was no one there.

Thursday night is the Ard Boyz night, where all the mini-war gamers gather to play and paint between 6-whenever we leave. Turns out we're also having a tournament on Aug 21, where the turns are un-timed and caster kill is no longer a winning condition. You guys should check it out. And just so Chase and Derek don't think I'm plugging for Panda, Battlegrounds has a way better range of Warmahordes figures to buy. They're also much more handsome.  ;D

It's fine to let others know when groups in the area meet.  I feel like it's good for everyone if the communities interact a bit.

We have and will continue to put effort into the Warmachine and Hordes community, stock, terrain, and events.  The more people that know about it the better.

Sorry to necro this thread, has there been a definitive time set for Warmachine/Hordes in Plainville?

Hey Mark,

Most of the WM/H action tends to happen on Saturday mornings/afternoons. I have had summer session finals keeping me and my wife from attending and a few of the others have had some issues lately, too. A while ago, there was a group who would be playing fairly regularly on Tuesdays. Not sure if that's still going on.

This weekend myself and a few others will definitely be there around opening.

Update on this weekend:

It looks like a lot of people can't make it. I don't think anyone from the Abington group will be down.

Thought I'd update this with what I've got, since I've been plugging away at painting / assembling for a week or so now.

I'm Steve.

Cryx - ~60 points or so in various stages of painting.

I've got a lot more in Cryx too, I just haven't started even attempting to assemble it all yet.

I'm normally at the Plainville store on Saturdays, and might be able to make it other nights of the week (except Thursdays) if given enough notice.

Cygnar ... Prefer 25 point games but have enough to do 35 point games as well... think my point total is over 50 now...

Work in Providence so will typically go to the Tues night games in Plainville but I live in Plymouth and would love to get some Fri Night games in Abington

I just started a Cygnar list knowing nearly nothing about Warmachine, so I'm looking for a little advise on how to put together a 35 point list. I'm thinking of taking some melee units to lead the way with ranged warjacks behind them, Like Sword knights with a Cyclone behind them or something of the sort. Any thoughts?

Menoth

I can run up to 100 points, but I'm a big fan of 42.
Any night after 4:30pm is cool, my preferred store is Abington.

Hi, I'm Garrett. I've got about 50 points of Cygnar and associated mercenaries, but I'm a pretty new player, so I'd really prefer to play at the 25 point level, 35 if I'm feeling particularly ambitious.

New to the game and slowly collecting a Cygnar force. Would love to get some smaller games in while working on a larger force.

Plainville is most convenient for me.

Hi.  I would call myself a "displaced 40k player".  Though I've had a Cryx army for a long time, since mark 1, I've never used it much.   I probably have like 60 pts worth, Dengrgrha and two different versions of Asphyxious.
