Spray paint is my best option to apply base coats to the 100+ minis I need painted for the Megabattle.
So, does anyone here have a line on where spray paint may be cheapest? I know Home Depot usually is around $5-6 a can, but I'm not familiar with other places.

I use touch n tone which is the best quality I have ever used and is .99 a can. I get them from ac moore not sure who else would sell it.
-
Paint gun would be the best as you could color it the exact color you want.

The 99 cent primer is really good I use it for all my model a shame bg doesn't carry it. Also the GA spray gun is ok but it will brake and you can barrow my air compreser its the size of an xbox

Is this different from an Air Brush, Rich? I'm thinking about getting one myself, and was wondering if there was a difference.
Ed, how long did yours last before breaking?

I meant air brush. I spent too much time in an autobody shop. :P

Air brush would be best, but after my most recent purchase from BG, it's not a good time to invest.

I don't own Ben the "gw" one but I have been reading alot of FAQs like awesome paint job. I have two badger brushes thati got for art school along time ago and I spent alot on them more then my necron . Army which is like 1850 points and I have never used one that was decent I used a 30$ brush on my fateweaver which I broke right after priming it guess you get what you pay for

I just bought some red spray paint at Lowes right in Plainville. It was about three dollars a can and they have a good variety of colors.
