Title: Airbrush Ready Primers and Sealers
Post by: Mad Dok Rob on April 04, 2013, 06:55:16 PM
So I finally picked up an airbrush to start painting all those Ral Partha Dragons that I bought in college many, many years ago.

My first question is, what does everyone use for Primer with an airbrush?  I currently use mostly white or black Krylon from a rattle can.

And what about sealing?  The past year or so, I have become a real big fan of the Testors Glosscote then Dullcote method (especially now that I play 40K/Warmachine).  Does anyone just thin out Gloss/Dullcote and spray it on, or is there another method?

I use Vallejo Surface primers with my airbrush and Vallejo Acrylic Varnish.

Both work awesome for me

Just got an airbrush myself and I have heard nothing but good things about vallejo, is there anyplace I can buy vallejo paints to avoid shipping charges when ordering online?

I know it was mentioned that Abington could get a hold of them I am not sure if the same applies to Plainville you should ask.
