What airbrush compressor do people use? I need to get a new one. I was thinking of getting one with a tank to extend the life of the compressor and get more consistent pressure.

LArgely as long as they have a tank, and moisture trap, and regulator they will work fine. the only thing that will vary is the volume of the compressor when it is running. the current badger compressor is the quietest one I've personally heard.

BG now has access to some pretty sweet airbrushes / compressors from CoolMini. I'm interested in peoples opinions of them. (http://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/catalogsearch/result/?q=airbrush&x=-1123&y=-74&cat=)

They look a little expensive for what they are; I also only need a compressor.
As a quick review, you can get an Iwata HP-CS and a Iwata compressor with a tank for about the same price; Iwata produce very good airbrushes and is a very well known name. I personally do not like the pistol action brushes, though some people do; the Grex pistol grip is a single action, which means it does not let you control the amount of air and paint at the same time. Only the two most expensive units have different nozzle sizes available; and I am not sure how easy they are to get, or how much they cost.
It looks like a great starter Air Brush kit, though a little expensive. I would feel fine recommending this as a nice starter kit for someone just starting, and are going to use it mainly for modeling. The kits also includes a Getting Started DVD. The Grex unit will look very nice if you were to get one and have it in stock to sell; and I don't think many other brands would look as like. I don't think you will sell many to someone that already has an airbrush.

What badger are you using? I am looking at the Badger TC-910 Aspire Pro.

I am also looking at the Air Brush Depot TC-20T.

The last one I was looking at is a Paasche 600R

The Badger one is the same as the Paasche (they make most of the parts for them...) That is the one I saw them using at their booth at Adepticon 2012 It is VERY quiet (10-15dbs). The master series will also work, but it is louder (prob around 20-25db)

Link is broken for me.

I've been using a Badger TC910 ASPIRE PRO for a while now. I do like it but it isn't what I would call quiet. Its not super loud but you can certainly tell when it is running.
Once the coolmini site is up and running again I'll certainly take a look.

This is the one I use:
Model 180-10
http://www.badgerairbrush.com/Model_180-10&12.asp (http://www.badgerairbrush.com/Model_180-10&12.asp)
I got it from Minuteman Hobby when they were still in business. :(
Is it loud? Eh. I spray in the basement on a bench in a corner area and the wife never complains about me spraying at the same time she is watching TV diagonally in the room above me.
