They really don't look that true to scale, not sure how they'll ever do an imperial version since a Star Destroyer would be MASSIVE if true to scale
-
Those look close to scale. The X-Wing should be about 1/10th the size of the corvette. A Star Destroyer will be over ten time larger then the medium transport, and a Victory Class Star Destroyer will only be about nine times larger.

This makes me want to play this game

X-Wing is awesome and would be SUPER popular at both stores (it's popular in Abington and sells very well in Plainville) if Fantasy Flight could keep up with demand at all.
Wave 3 miniatures *should* be arriving within a month and I ordered a ton of them, so here's hoping they last a while.
Also, an X-Wing demo day is coming to Plainville as soon as I get word on when the wave 3 ships will arrive. I may explore organized play options after that.

more pictures here, looks like msrp will be $59 and $89 respectively

Pretty sweet.

oddly they look really close to scale.. even thou the transport looks bigger in the movies the corvette is truly double it's size. The transport racks in at 90 meters while the corvette is 150 meters while the X-wing is a mere 13 meters.
a star destoryer in that scale would be redonkulas as the Imperial class II star destroyer (the one everyone thinks of first) clocks in at 1600 metes... it would have to be 11x the size of the corvette
