It will be sweet.

We did it a LOOOONG time ago when WotC was making SWM.  It was super cool.

Damn, that sounds like fun.  I am in (just need to find a baby sitter now).

Too bad Imperial Aces will not be out by then.  >:(

Seriously?  I picked the last possible Saturday hoping that MAYBE the Christmas release would make it out in Q1 2014....  What a ridiculous hope.  /sigh

I have been holding out on buying Interceptors until IA came out.  Last time I was looking for release date info, I was pretty sure the the Fantasy Flight website said 1 May as the release date.  I just tried to hop on their website to see if I was remembering wrong, but their website is currently down.

So if the imperial aces won't be out until may, how long am I going to have to wait for the z-95 headhunter?

It looks like the Imperial Aces kit is not allowed in the tournament per the FF tournament rules as it hasn't been added yet to the approved kits list.

Just wanted to point that out as I had to go adjust my list for this coming weekend.

Definitely going to the championship, May not be able to stay for the trench run, i'll have to play it by ear. (though that seems silly, since playing this game is fiddly enough using hands)

I am not going to horror this.

People will be allowed to use the Aces if they'd like.  Fantasy Flight is notoriously bad at anything having to do with their product releases so it doesn't surprise me at all that they haven't updated a .pdf yet.

I emailed Fantasy Flight Organized Play and was told that it's INTENDED that the Aces not be allowed in the Store Champs.

SUPER LAME.

:(

Yea - I heard somewhere they usually wait until after the tournament season is over before adding new releases to the event rules.

So does that mean Aces are in or out?  :o

They're out, which is an absolute travesty and I couldn't disagree with it more.... but the ruling came straight from the horses mouth.

That's exactly why I don't talk to horses.

I don't know, I think it's pretty fair, considering it's released in the middle of the tournament season. That way, tournaments aren't as swingy because you have new cards that no one has used, giving a possible advantage to those who could dish out the cash for the new set.
