BG Plainville Section?
« on: August 03, 2010, 12:18:41 PM »
How does creating a BG Plainville section sound so that those who game at the Plainville location can schedule games?  It could avoid confusion as to which location the gamers will be playing at.

I never know what's going on.

I thought there was ONLY going to be the Plainville location...?

Disregard.  I just read the post in Announcements.  Apparently I have read ALL the boards, not just the FoW section for info...

there is no confusion when it comes to gamers... simply misunderstandings that must be settled with dice and swords

We will definitely be adding sections within the messageboards to accommodate both locations. It will probably help to have an indicator in a person's profile which store they call "home."

Ideas and suggestions are certainly welcome!

yeah but which side has control of chase? a battleroyale for chase! and with chase comes the free use of the boards, and people watching  :D

or of course, just make a duplicate board and let each member when they first (or again) log in choose a home store that it defaultly goes to, but still a button up to to go to the other store.

also, speaking of megabattle, ard boyz, big releases and qualifiers and such special events, which store will hold them? is it possible for both to have them? but wouldnt that mean that there would be (in the case of gw tourneys) 6 players from battlegrounds and be against the idea of the top 3

in any case. the week following up to the grand opening should have all kinds of big special tournements to attract local attention do like a game a day or something cool like that

I think BG Plainville, Chase's first store to be Grand Master of, needs to hold a special event when Chase finally breaks down and starts playing 40k.  It feels like he's getting close to the breaking point.

If Chase played 40k, it would be the first time in recorded history someone was close to or equal to Steve D in awesomeness... unless he was swayed to chaos. then it would be a sad day indeed.  ::)

Chase, please play 40k. Then all we need to get to play it is Beth  :D

*If* I played 40k I would probably start with codex marines.  They seem basic enough and easy enough to teach myself how to paint on.  One I thought I knew what I was doing in terms of both playing the game and painting the models I'd start Eldar.

For better or for worse I don't see myself starting 40k any time soon though.
