Any interest over in plainville at all? (or anywhere). I heard bill had a demo set up for the one year event and two people tried demoing the game in Abington but they showed up at a very slow time of day and basically played each other and left...

The game (like malifaux... Ugh) has a lot of interesting ideas and rules to keep interest, if there was a solid player pool or interest pool to start. If anyone has anything to add or has interest let me know please.

Some of the Dark Star guys play it.  If / when one of them sees this I'm sure they'll post something.

It looks like a cool game but do you know how much $$ it takes to get a solid army up. Like are we talking malifaux range where you could get one up for under $100 or more like warmachine or dare I say it... 40K. I'm in abington so yea that's all.

Models are about what a blister costs ($10-20). The game seems to work with about 6-10 models so from $60-$200 is a price range, depending on the model in question. Probablly about $150, which is very sound pricing for a skirmish scale game.

Yea with that in mind i would not mind getting into it but i would have to see how the game works (rules etc), because i only have a small paper route for my income  :P, and with 40K i really would like to see a demo game/ see if a few more people want to play before i consider playing. But it does look like a cool game.

I'm sure when a darkstar guy (the little aliens from space jam?) comment they could clarify... But if it helps anymore... I checked msrp for some models I wanted:

Shaasvatii shrouded sniper $10.46 x2
Shaasvatii Cadmus $11.81 x2
Shaasvatii noctifiers with missiles $13.84 x2
Shaasvatii noctifiers with gun $13.84
Avatar $55.01

So yes you can play for well under $100, and the avatar is the frigging huge model of the line, to give scale of price.

7 dudes/orders = <$85, pretty sweet.

Site Has Quick Rules up which if your interested in it are worth taking a Look at.

Definitely a Different style of play compared to 40k and War/Hordes and I like it.

I'm in Plainville as well and i'm interested

the concept seems scaled down from 40k to battles between fire teams

i need to look over the rules a lot more before picking an army but on aesthetics alone i like the look of the Pan Oceania and Nomads

I would be interested, I would play in Abington; I already have some PanO models.  The biggest problem for this game is terrain.  I was looking at making paper terrain for my own use at my house.

To play you really want 8-10 models; this will get you the amount of orders you need to really be able to do something.  From the rules I have read so far it seems like if you try to go totally on the offensive you will lose very fast.  This game seem to be a very tactical squad based game.

You can download the full rules on there site, form the link below.

There is a fair amount of interest in this in Plainville.  Fortunately, I've recently found out that Alliance carries the product line.

I plan to pick up some rule books and starters next week.
