Self Intro
« on: May 07, 2012, 10:57:29 AM »
Just wanted to say Hello! I dropped in a couple of weeks ago at the thursday 40k night in Plainville, great place! I met a couple of you there as well as bumped into a couple of old friends from way back when. Anyway, I hope to drop in again soon! I have Eldar, Tyranids and Imperial Fists marines.

Thanks,

Bob

Wow!  That's seriously impressive.  Did you paint it yourself?  If so I demand that you bring it down and play!  ;)

Welcome! Those Eldar are amazing, definitely hope to see them hit the table. I'd want you to learn how to play competitively, because once you're ready for a tournament, you'd be an immediate challenger for Best Painted.

Beuatiful work on those Eldar, can't wait to see those on the table on Thursdays!

Thursday night points is usually dependent on the next tournament for the most part.  This month is doubles so most people will be showing up with 1250.  There shouldn't be any problems finding you a partner either, might be a good way to get a game in and have someone on your side to catch you up with the rules at the same time!

Welcome!

Quick question, are the flamer and blast templates much different now since third edition, do I need new ones?
I believe they're still the same.

Also, I try to encourage people to play the number of points per the upcoming BG tournaments, mostly because it's good for the store. But people show up with whatever and play whatever, and if players are happy, that's good for the store too. :)

Seriously epic painting on those Eldar. I think we met you where talking to my buddy Jeff as we were playing his necrons vs my GKs.

Beautiful painting hope to see it on the tables soon.
