Trading spacewolves army for store credit
« on: August 02, 2012, 04:22:59 AM »
Hey all, I'm heading to college in a month and am thinking that I should sell my army and eventually start anew, so if anyone's interested I'm getting rid of my spacewolves army. It's a good amount of stuff, with about 6 squads of basic grey hunters, a pack or two worth of meltaguns, 2-3 squads of terminators, 3 rhinos, Canis Wolfborn, 2-3 squads of long fangs, a dreadnought and some other goodies. I'm not looking for too much for the army, $50-$60 in store credit would be awesome and I just want them to go to a good home. PM or post below if you're interested at all =)

That sounds like a lot of stuff.  I'd give you $60 for it, and could set it up this Saturday.  Mind if I ask how they're painted?

It's all for the most part painted slightly different. Troy, I've actually gotten rid of the ridiculous paint scheme that was on their before and it looks like a formidable army now. To answer your question about the paint scheme, some of it was salamanders so about 15-20 models are either just primed black or are painted green and such like a salamander. The majority of the army is painted gray with some small variations. There's nothing pink or absurd about it anymore. Saturday would be awesome, and indeed, it is a lot of stuff, it's at least 3000 points, with the possibility of close to 4000 depending on how you arm everything.

Sure, I'll be there for the tournament, but happy to take them off your hands.

Nice Alley.  Keep in touch after you go to college will be interesting to see where your army goes from there.  Also that is a great deal.

Sweet. I definitely will Troy, I might even start a blog to keep track of the whole process and to show how the army comes together over time. I'll drop the army off tomorrow Matt, so if you could just put the $60 into my account (Alley Livingston) that'd be perfect. What's your last name though so I can have them hold it for you?

If you want them instead, you can have them.  It's a really good deal, and I can use them as random allies.  But if you're a dedicated SM/SW player, it's better that they go to a loving home.

I also prefer to paint most of my stuff from scratch

Well if everyone above recuses themselves I will take 'em!  I am just getting into 40k, after a lapse of a few decades, and would love to don the armor of Fenris... In addition to my small, very antique Ultramarines.
