BFG Wednesday (18MAR09)
« on: March 10, 2009, 09:36:31 PM »

Sims, you mentioned a game of BFG on Monday, are you up for a game on next Wednesday (day after St. Patrick's Day)?  If you are available, how many points?  Let me know.

That works out perfectly, because I was just informed I don't have practice that night.

I'll post the points I can do tomorrow.  Right now I haven't calculated it.  But count me in on Wednesday.
It's the throwing phase now.

So Rob, how many points?  Would you like to face Imperials, Chaos or Orks?

Sorry for taking so long.  I'd say 1500, to avoid some strange number by taking everything I can.  Sound good?

I'll face you Imperials.  Show you the wrong of your ways. ;)

1,500 points of Imperials it is.  I work until 4 - 4:30, but I'll try to get there as early as possible; 5:30 - 6.  See you there Tau!!

Awesome that's what!  Kidding although it is awesome.  Perhaps you would enjoy it.

OK, anyone got a spare set of rules?  Do you need Eldar fleet?

Rob, I'm sorry I didn't make it there tonight.  I got out of work and couldn't get my car started!  My wife came and got me and as of now my car is still there (I hope!).  Having a great time at home; tried to do a load of laundry and the darn machine blew something.  Started to make a loud thumping noise and water started to leak from the bottom!  So off to the laundromat I went with a very heavy load of wet clothes.  Not the way I wanted the night to go!!!

Can we try to set up another game?  I'm planning to be at BG Monday (23MAR09).  Is that day good for you?

Pat,
The rules can be found on the Games Workshop site under Specialist Games.  They are in PDF Files that I believe you can download.  As far as I know, nobody has an Eldar Fleet.  If you would like to try a game, let me know.

No problem.  Considering the awesome power of the Tau, it's understandable you would quake in your boots and back down. :p

Chase let me know about your call.  Sounds like the worst Wednesday I could imagine.

I'll definitely be there Monday.  It's the final League night, so there will be a Hero Bash taking place but I'd love to get a game in before/in between/after.  I've got a nice, fully painted fleet now.  Thinking of getting a Demiurg ship next.  That would make me able to make a 2000 point list.

What time will you be there and what time does the League meet and the Hero Bash?

The Commisars luck holds even in real life!  ;)  Hope everything works out inexpensively for you.  Have your A&A cards printed on good photo paper.  Will try to get to store on Monday.   Also working on FOW,  German defense of bridge during retreat from Russa,  terrain still comming in mail.

I came to the store hoping to see the results of a great BFG game but instead I didn't see anyone.  What happened?
