Modelling Reeds on Bases
« on: October 25, 2009, 11:41:20 PM »
Any advice on what materials to use to model reeds or really tall grass (straw etc) on bases?  I know I've seen this in the Model Railroader periodical I read but I can't recall what issue.

I want to get some tall grass on bases for some of my FoW.  I think it involved using an old bristle broom but can't recall.

Thoughts?

I'm thinking Gale Force 9 has some tall grass basing tubs. I might be mistaken, but I'll check with the distributors to see what's available.

Thanks Derek.  I need a few other things so I'll e-mail you with some items if you could order them for me.  Again that is great news about the store.  I can't wait to get the address so I can begin plotting out my best route to Everett.
