Starting after the release of the new HeroClix set, The Incredible Hulk (on sale Dec 14th), Battleground Games & Hobbies in Plainville MA will begin hosting Organized Play events and tournaments leading up to the
Infinity Gauntlet Organized Play Series in January.
We are kicking off our Organized Play with a
"Keep What You Kill" event on Sunday, December 18th.
Format: 300 point Golden Age
Date: December 18th, 2011 a Sunday
Time: 1:00pm Entrance
Fee: $10.00 per person
This event will be run as a free for all. Each player will be asked to bring a 300 point army using the
Golden Age rules (any model from any set is legal, old or new). You will fight alongside other players on the same map, but will not have to fight against them.
For each player enrolled in the event one booster pack of
Incredible Hulk figures will be opened up and added to the center of the map. The referee will control all of the figures in the center and use them to fight off the players. If a figure of yours dies, he will "respawn" in your deployment zone at the beginning of your next turn.
Over the course of the event, players will get to KEEP every figure that they KILL, so long as it was under the referees control. (You do not get to keep the other players figures if you happen to kill them.) The event will end when once all of the figures have been claimed by players.
