Transport capacity of a Rhino
« on: March 16, 2010, 09:38:19 PM »
I understand that there is a number associated with the transport capacity of a Rhino, Land Raider, etc.

What are these numbers and what is their significance?

Rhinos can not transport Terminators.  Does this have to do with the capacity or do they have some special rule?

Rhinos have a transport capacity of 10. Special Rule disallows terminators to be transported in them.

Land Raiders vary.
Chaos Space Marine ones have a transport capacity of 10 Marines, 5 terminators.

Loyalist ones vary greatly depending on codex and variant.  They do follow the 10 / 5 ratio of marines or terminators though.

Rhino's can't carry Terminators because it's just the way the rules written.  Pretty simple rule, really.

Regular LR's and Redeemers can carry 12 Troops or 6 Terminators.

LR Crusaders can carry 16 and 8.  Hope that helps, Chase!
