Thursday 40k isnt really Dying out as much as taking a small leave of break. Ed is right Battle for Salvation happened last weekend as well as the Big Anniversary Celebration. I also believe were going to see more people show up with Lists Painted for the 500 point tournament as they are finishing them up right now. <---- Procrastinating on the 11 models he has to paint :P.
I ride in on my Bike with my Hat of awesome and say Nay this place should be on fire.

I know Simon was a casualty of Battle for Salvation. He and his DOA Sisters won his bracket, at the price of health and well-being.

If you're not putting your body on the line for Warhammer, you're doing it wrong.

Chris' wife is expecting within the next couple weeks as well, so I don't expect to see him around too much until likely the end of winter.

I wish I could go! I'm still collecting my army though. Sadly, places don't hire fourteen year olds who are more willing and hard working than older employees! So, I make bleak amounts of money assisting my grandmother at her barbershop, and can't buy my army all at once. :-[ I'll be back soon enough though, expect me around the colder months...

I can believe there will be another 500 point tournament. Maybe I'll just throw something together for some Thursday night. An 8-man 3-round tournament, done in under three hours. Henry, by then you get Mephiston and two small squads, there's your 500, easy peasy!

Anyone else think it's funny Henry has no hair and works in a barbershop?

I'll be there, of course. I kind of like my Bloodthirster/Horror list, though it really performed last week well above its station.

It was just a Bloodthirster with all upgrades (300) and two squads of Horrors, one with the Changeling (95 & 100). I just like running Bloodthirsters at any point level, though I know I'd get stomped into the ground at the tournament. 4 bad rolls and 300 points is gone!

Drew has been coming with 2000 points of Deathwing and/or Space Marines, both of which would make for a good matchup for Jason's GKs. I don't know if Drew is coming this week, but I thought he mentioned he'd try to make it. Don't make the same mistake I did last week against Drew and forget to field 300 points worth of models!
