It makes me sad that Tyranids don't have any tanks. :(

That being said, would it be really odd of me to buy and build a Fire Prism JUST for this event? :P
Reality is a cruel and unintuitive place with rather frustrating game-play mechanics.

Sure is! Someone please show up with this - 36" Rams that are basically AP1 Ordnance are giggle-worthy.

Not at all... that's how I ended up with a hammerhead last year.  Hmm... this year I own a Predator, Vindicator, and Land Raider... all unassembled and unpainted.  So I am probably bringing the Hammerhead again!

Any canned food requirement, or did I miss it?

No canned food requirement this time.  It would be nice, but I don't want to have to pressure people to show up with something.

Unfortunately Titans are "Super-Heavy Walkers" and have no place at TANKsgiving!

The doomsday monolith from apocalypse.  Might be a choice, 72" range doomsday cannon and a 4+phase shifter save.

Someone else asked about the Doomsday Monolith and I told them no.

My main reason for saying no is that I was under the impression that the only way to field it is in a datasheet that requires additional Monoliths.  Is this true, or can it be put down alone?  Also, I'm not really interested in something that might function totally different than the new, updated Monolith.

I don't have Reload here.  Can't check. :(

Good question.  I'll have to check, you may be right.  I thought that they just gave you extra shots.  Is the Pylon considered a tank?  I can't remember.
