Ben's Big Trading Thread
« on: July 22, 2012, 11:29:06 PM »
It's time to come out of the closet. That is to say, a closet floor-to-ceiling full of Warhammer stuff.

It will be a lengthy process to catalog everything. Items range over the entire Games Workshop line, from 40k to Fantasy to Necromunda to Epic. New items will be posted as I get to them.

** All transactions will either be in trade or Battleground store credit (space bucks). **

I'll keep my wishlist in this post. I'll be buying everything I can through Battleground. I would strongly prefer to trade my new items for new items; I'm not here to compete against BG.

I want that closet turned into a Black Templar Deathwing army. Zeal is its own excuse. Also, Blood Bowl stuff!

My Wishlist
Space Marine Assault Terminator Squad (6)
Grey Knight Terminators (1)
Forge World Black Templar Terminator Shoulder Pads (3)
Forge World Black Templar Terminator Storm Shields (3)

Blood Bowl stuff!

Assorted Wants

6 plasma guns

Sniper scouts plastic. preferably not assembled definitely not primed.

Guardsmen: Catachan or Cadian any combination of regular guys, auto cannon squads, and command.

Kasrkin

5 plastic robed Dark Angel veterans. Just need the bodies really.

6 fire warriors
1 crisis suit
2 broadsides (or just three suit that I can convert up)

The following is everything I have available for sale/trade in one convenient location. I'll do my best to keep this updated as deals are done, as it helps me just as much.

MASTER LIST

Warhammer 40k

Chaos Daemons
see post

Grey Knights (all pewter)
Inquisitor Coteaz - SB$12.50
Brother-Captain Stern - SB$12.50
Grey Knight lot of 9 (2 swords, 6 halberds, 1 Incinerator; 4 primed black) - SB$35

Orks
3 Ork Warbuggies
1 Deff Dread (metal)
2 Killa Kan bodies & legs (metal)
2 kombi-scorchas (metal)
1 twin-linked shoota (metal)
A box of plastic bits, mostly Ork infantry... Arms, torsos, heads all there, but apparently no legs. Sometimes it's best not to ask questions.
I'm also putting together a bunch of bits I'm calling "Only an Ork Player Could Love"

Imperial Guard
Assorted Infantry bits and some Heavy Weapons bits (SB$11)
Chimera bits (SB$15)

Blood Angels
(x2) Furioso Dreadnought NIB
Lot of Death Company bits
(Qty) Description - Price in Space Bucks
(x1) Set of 8 Heads & 5 Power Armor suits - SB$7.50
(x4) Set of 5 Legs - SB$5
(x3) Set of 6 Swords and small bits - SB$2
(x1) Hand Flamer (left arm) - SB$1
(x7) Pair of Plasma Pistols (left & right) SB$1

Space Marines
Land Speeder Storm (NOS)
Land Speeder Storm - Scouts sprue only (NOS)
Space Marine Scouts (NOS)
2 AoBR Space Marine Captains, assembled, unprimed
Lot of Space Marine infantry bits on sprue
Lot of Dreadnought bits
Space Commander bits
Space Marines bits for Rhinos and Tactical squads
Dreadnought, partially assembled, autocannons included

Chaos
Bloodletters NIB
(x3) Chaos Daemonic Sensor - Squadron Command Frame bits ($6 for the lot)

Tyranids
5 older-model Termagaunts (plastic)
2 Termagaunts (metal)

Miscellaneous
Set of Green Plastic Templates - SB$5
(x15) White scatter die from AoBR - SB$1

Lots and lots of 25mm-ish small plastic flying bases with sticks/stands

Warhammer Fantasy

I'll be honest, I am really not familiar with Fantasy in any capacity. That said, I will endeavor to identify these models as best as possible. However, a number of models appear older and not available on the GW site.

A massive Empire army for Warhammer Fantasy. Far too many pictures to post in a thread, so here's a link to an album.

I identify and quantify these models, starting here:
http://www.battlegroundgames.com/forum/index.php?topic=4446.msg43234#msg43234

Golgfag's Mercenaries, Regiment of Renown, circa 1998. - Picture

Undead

I have a Games Workshop case, 3 trays full of Vampire Counts models. Dire wolves, skeletons and ghouls, among other models. I've dug out a couple other random Vampire Counts models. Looks like an Abyssal Terror and two lords.
https://picasaweb.google.com/108082807611268692082/VampireCounts

Undead fantasy models, mostly Tomb Kings and Vampire Counts, I believe.
Album

Fantasy Orcs & Goblins army
Also 15 Orc Boars, primed. No riders, just wild pigs.

Also, even more Fantasy models. Night Goblin archers, skeletal horses with skeletal riders, and a few other models I can't guess at. Totally can't figure what flying creatures those little crazy dudes are riding.

Epic Armageddon

Rule Books and supplements (SB$40)
Detachment sheets

Epic Tyranids
(These models are all out-of-print, no longer available through Games Workshop.)

Unpainted, unassembled
4 Zoanthrope
3 Dominatrix
6 Haruspex
3 Exocrine
3 Dactylis

An Epic Titan Legions box

The box still has models on sprue and unpunched boards, chock full of Epic sized titans and stuff. It looks like someone tried assembling and failing to paint a Stompa. It's a bit hard to gauge its value, but I do have some idea. Shoot me an offer! I doubt this will sell here, but I definitely wanted to give the community first crack at it. Once I put it to the world, it'll be gone.

Battlefleet Gothic
Planet Killer, Issue #1

Assorted

Promo poster for the Space Marine video game, same one that's up in Plainville. It's in okay condition.

I have a Doskocil black hard plastic gun case (model 1612), similar in size to the Games Workshop hard
plastic carry case. Just the case, no foam.

I have four new 1" foam trays. To reiterate my desire to not compete with BG, I'm only interested in trading for this. Values: each tray ($6.50)

I also have a 1" and 2" tray, both punched. $5 space bucks each.

My first item is by far the largest, a massive Empire army for Warhammer Fantasy.

I have a relatively small amount of IG bits... that's about it from your list.

Hey!  Great empire collection.  I might be interested in a few individual models for my mordheim band(s).  In particular I saw in the some old metal swordsmen, some OOP Rieksguard, some of the old metal huntsmen, any wizards, warrior priests or witchunters.  I saw old "baby Valten" in there too, great figure with two hammers... Are you interested in selling individual figs?  Or just the whole lot?  I could make a small list of particular figures based on the photos is you want to unload a dozen or so...

There are definitely some great figures in the army, for sure. Trouble is, I don't know yet what's worth what. There are bunches of old models, which can really tip the garbage/gold scale in either direction. For the moment, I'd prefer to sell them as one lot.

Now if someone swoops in and makes a generous offer on the whole lot, saving me the time and effort of meticulous calculations, well that's exactly the plan for the moment. :)
