Fantasy league
« on: January 03, 2009, 12:50:54 AM »
well From what D has told me he hopes to get the Fantasy league off the ground a month or so after the megabattle, though that could change a bit dependent on how long it takes to get the tiles compleat.

So I figured I would start this post to get the ball rolling and ask who plans on being a part of the league and what army will you play?

I'm just curious how the league will work.  Will we start with small armies, like say 500 points, then get more points as we take terrortories?  Or do we just battle over terrortories and decide the points between the players in each battle?

last I heard the league was going to use the mighty empires simple rules.  It will start off with games at 750 points and go up from there.  As far as tile control, the winner will be the person with the most squares at the end.  Also the tiles with mines will give you gold every turn, this will be spent on different things.

From what I understand as it stands now a turn will consist of a player challenging another player (this does not have to be someone adjacent to them) the two players fight the winner and loser will both receive empire points based on how they did.  The empire points are then used to take control of tiles and build mines or castles on them.  Rinse and repeat for next turn.
