Yes there is.  It is put out by Games Workshop.  Head over to Games Workshop and you'll see it there.  They also showcase it in White Dwarf.  I believe there's some old LotR product (see pic below) on the walls near Warmachine in the store.

It's fairly unplayed at BG.  There was a time for about a month where it got really popular, and many of us still have some forces from it.  40k and Fantasy won out, though.
It's the throwing phase now.

i was on the receiving end on occasion

From what I've seen it is generally unpopular in this part of the country.  However, it is very popular in other areas.  I have stuff for it but nothing put together.  The original rules set looked interesting though.  Always thought a Rohan cav force would be interesting.  I got other stuff too.

If you ever consider getting into it and demoing I'd be up to learn it.  Could be fun to play.

Oh yeah that one.  I saw it played a few times at Danger Planet.  Does anyone play that anymore either?  It seemed shorter lived than the GW one.

I'm such a sucker for collectible games.  Must stay away from dead and buried game.

It is a decent game from what I've seen and I have a fair amount of stuff for it.  But, I cannot commit to this.  Sorry but maybe others will.
