A group of great people have been asking Battleground to host Yu-Gi-Oh! events.  Starting December 14th, we're making it happen!  Come take part in Plainville's first ever Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament!!

Every participant will receive 1 booster pack of his or her choice (or 2 packs of War of the Giants) upon registration.

Swiss pairings.  The number of rounds will be based on turnout, each round will be 40 minutes long.  There will be no top cut.  Due to delays on Konami's end this event will not be sanctioned.

Prizes will be based on attendance.  A portion of each player's entrance fee will fund the prize pool.
Battleground is primarily interested in a causal, fun group of players coming together because they enjoy playing the game.  We expect our prizes to be very competitive when compared to other venues in the area but we are not interested in specifically attracting the super competitive crowd by offering prize support that is  "over the top" at our standard, weekly events.  Higher stakes events will be held as the community grows and demand is present.

In addition to the normal prize support, the winner of each Saturday night event will have their picture featured on our Facebook page in a custom Yu-Gi-Oh! card frame.  Cause, you know, bragging rights are awesome and stuff.

Battleground in Plainville is a spacious, convenient location that we feel players will enjoy, we've recently brought on a decent stock of the most recent Yu-Gi-Oh product, sets, card supplies, and accessories (excited for some feedback).  Want food? We're located literally seconds from a PieZoni's, McDonalds, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and several Chinese food joints! We're very excited to expand our gaming community by inviting Yu-Gi-Oh! enthusiasts to come check us out and play!
