Anyone know how I can get two warhounds for Renee w/o having to buy another complete warband? The Lord of the Rings minis are not the same scale. Grrr! Any ideas, or trades would be great. Thanks.

do you mean that your looking for a way to not buy the GW warband? or not buy a box of hounds from the fantasy range?

CUz I think you can use the chaos hounds box, you'd just need to file off some of the spikes.  Or you can check out the reaper or warlord mini's range.  I think that is where jared got some of his wolves.

I got her the official warband box and it only comes w/ 1 hound. She has more than one in her band, so I was looking to get one, or two more for her. The Lord of the Ring hounds I found were wrong scale and are tiny compared to the other one.So I should cehk out Reaper and the choas hounds?

yea, when in doubt look into the warlord or reaper mini's they usually have something.

Thanks Ian & Kevin. I just didn't know why buy another full warband for one, or two mor hounds? I'll check out the other ranges next time I'm in store, (probably tomorrow night)

Anyone interested in starting up a league again? perhaps something interesting like doubles could be possible but most likely a simple singles league.

also, reading this post, i was looking up skaven lists and one kid actually used throwing stars with the fighting claws and it was allowed. i do not know whether it was an exception made or if it is gw official, but throwing stars are certainly different than other ranged weapons.

sounds good what time do you wana play? i assume id just have the 500gc build for now since i lost my bands list long ago

if this league started i was considering having it be like before where there is no set day when you have to play just everyone plays each other once, then we might have a "mega battle" or just continue to another round of playing everyone

glad to here spread the word and have more people post here if they are interested. this would be geared towards being a simple and casual league so new players are certainly welcome
