Hm, I think it's time to bring out the nids and practice some 500 points of bugs!

The event is filling up quite nicely.  We still have a bunch of spots left, but don't hesitate.  There might not be any left by this time tomorrow.

If you're planning to play, email me NOW.

I plan on being t battleground this week and maybe get some 500 point games in. Kinda wavering between 2 lists, more competitive or try for Best Painted with a less competitive list.

It's not summer-busy, but talk of Thursday 40k demise are very premature. This week was better than last, which is all I would like.

I played two games tonight with my Daemons.
500 points vs Space Marines
2000 points vs Space Marines
Tabled the first, got tabled the second. I'll post my 500 list in that thread. Good games both for very different reasons.

There were a couple Tau vs Tau games, Tyranids vs Space Marines, Tau vs Blood Angels. We had I think two first-time Thursday players.

People used the tournament scenarios and I was able to answer any questions that came up quickly. I'm happy with the evening, but then that doesn't take much.

I like to play Magic after 40k, short games, great way to decompress (though my abilities to navigate rules and order-of-operations suffer greatly post-warhams). I don't begrudge anyone who plays Magic, in part because I like it and in larger part because they keep the store open. And I get free cards from Ed. Sweet!
