My horoscope for Thursday.

Quote
You have taken on a strong leadership role in your group, and you need to embrace that -- whether you are truly comfortable with the role or not. If you have any misgivings, it is very important that you do not let them show right now. Your bravado will help calm everyone, and it will keep everyone focused on positive things (instead of gossip and grudges). People are looking to you for guidance, so give it.

My bravado is now sanctioned by the stars. You have all been warned.

Whatever the heck I said last week on the forum to get the store overflowing with 40k, I repeat that now for this week with even more emphasis.

At least I'd like to think it was something I said... Maybe someone posted something on Facebook and I missed it.

Works for me, I'll be trying to get up.  I hate my job sometimes, never lets me have a Thursday night off!  On that note, off to work I go!

29 points? That's a Bloodletter and a Nurgling base. You don't stand a chance!

Im trying to get back into 40k. I've been away for awhile and really would like to start playing again, i can make it most Thursdays (basically whenever i don't work), i live 5min down the rad from the Plainville store actually. I can play anywhere between like 1250 and 5000pts. Im just looking to learn the rules and gameplay again, i know most basic stuff.

Anyone up for doubles practice (1250 each) tonight?

And Eric, there should be plenty of people around any given Thursday to show you the ropes.

First, forum whaaat?

To business.

Solid night of 40k, some regular players, some new players. I really like what I'm seeing, and hope we can all keep it up!

Chaos Daemons vs Space Marines. My power armor never stood a chance.
Tau vs World Eaters. Tau shot quite a bit, not enough cover saves were made.
Orks vs Necrons
Tau vs Necrons
Blood Angels vs Grey Knights

I have no answers other than that this may be a side effect of moving things over to the new site....  Let me check...

Well, it's definitely under development.  The forum on the new site now links to a clone of this, only our theme and templates aren't correct.  That's probably why things look all goofy.

I'm sure it'll be okay in a few days.  If not, I'll bitch until it is.

Hmmm, Boyz vs the tinheads was very interesting.  Kind of strange chopping somefing that doesnt make noise when you hit em.

Although, Dethrolla vs Monolith (Dethrolla won) is a lot of fun.

Was thinking I needed a 3rd BW, but with the stuff I have seen about the Ork flyers (Dakkajet, Blitz and Burna Bomber) I think I am going to hold up a bit.  I LOVE the idea of making the Great Ork LuftWaaaagh!
