If anyone can recommend to me what units on this list (that appear in white) I should pick up, that would be great.

I know literally nothing about Empire and outside of Jake / Josh I'm pretty sure I've never seen them on the table.

I will be going VERY light on this army unless I'm told otherwise by the player base.

The new paint sets:  The 40K one has 5 marines, and I thought the warhammer one had 5 HE Seaguard... that list says 10 figures... Anyone know what's up with that?  Nevermind the Lord of the Rings one up to 12 (Moria gobbos, presumably)?!?

Don't bother with any of the reiksgaurd knights. It's just old models in a new box. The demigriphon knights will probably be good sellers. I'll probably pick up a celestial hirricanium. Whatever that is.

It's hard to say what will be good, so I'm not sure what to tell you.

I can't wait to rain hot soup down on my enemys!

I checked GW's site, and the Warhammer one is only 5 elves... but the Lord of the Rings one IS 12 moria goblins.  I guess they want people to play some lord of the rings!  The paint sets seem like a good deal, all the colors they have in them are pretty universal.  I think I will get the 40K one, I use most of those colors, and 5 more marines are always welcome!

Wow, that's some crazy stuff. The griphon looks cool, but it will probably suck... The knights look way beter then I expected. I might get a few of those.

damn, i thought for a second that the war wagon had made a comeback... oh well... interesting concept for the luminarks. not sure how i feel about the models but the bits open up some really great stuff. the knights are also 10 times cooler than the peg knight ripoff i expected. looks to be a great release.

yeah just looked over the models again and the more i look at them, the more i like them. even that ridiculous griffon looks like it came out of an epic rennaissance painting or something. i've always loved that the heart of the empire was that they were just really average german rennaissance guys, but i'm liking the extra bit of fantasy stuff they're adding to the army. really great.

I agree I like the models... not sure how they play...but The Bretonnians can use so updates too :) LOL almost makes me want to by an Empire Army now :)
