"7th" Edition Release Products
« on: May 12, 2014, 04:31:28 PM »

I'll try to get some more info on what the Munitorum Edition is all about.  It will be limited.

Well that is the Munitorum Edition. The Warhammer 40,000 book which looks to be most likely just the standard rule book is 85$ which is still quite expensive.

It's about the same cost as 3 Red Sox tickets.

I wonder if it'll hit 1000 on eBay a few months after release.

What's visions of the Dark Milennium?
Should the miserable Grot crews survive for long they will soon become deafened and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry around with him.

I'm like Jon Snow, I know nothing.

I will know more when I talk to the rep again tomorrow.

I asked Nick for a rule book on Friday, but I'll want to add cards to that also.

Cheers,

I gotta think the 340 version is the "collectors" edition like they did for Apocaplyse - Snazzy box, hardcover books, all the objective cards, all the new psychic cards etc.
0000 - Rest Period - BUT YOU BETTER NOT SPEND FOUR WHOLE HOURS SLEEPING. IF YOU DO YOU ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH AND TOMORROW YOU GET THE FIRST CHANCE TO PLAY PIN THE TAU ON THE CARNIFEX.

W40k Rules come in a hard cardboard box and includes 3 separate books.
The first is called Galaxy War and is a starter guide with 114pages with lots of photos of painted miniatures.  The second is called Dark Millennium and is 128 pages with extensive background section and new portraits and illustrations.  The third is the rules, and is 208 pages including among it the new psychic powers.  - translated from Spanish

So looks like Visions of Dark Millennium is the fluff book.  Hilariously, the psychic phase expansion and rules from 2nd edition were called Dark Millennium.

This release is seriously bringing back everything about 2nd Edition that got me into the hobby and I am like a fat diabetic in a candy store.

Wait.  I AM A FAT DIABETIC.  THIS IS AWESOME.

That's the collector's box I'm assuming?

Chase, I know I PM'd you, but I thought I'd post here too. I'll take a rulebook. I'll be in on the 24th. I just needed the 85 dollar one.
