Stoneblade Entertainment Reveals ‘Ascension: Realms Unraveled’

Retailer news website ICv2.com reported that Stone Blade Entertainment, makers of the popular Ascension deck building game, will release a new standalone product for its Ascension line; Ascension: Realms Unraveled will release in Q2.
Realms Unraveled is a standalone game for 1 – 4 players, though it can be combined with other Ascension games to support up to 6 players. This release introduces the first dual-faction Heroes to the game. It includes new Multi-Unite cards to let players gain large rewards for playing several Heroes from the same faction in one turn. There are also Transform cards that can create more powerful versions of cards.

Popular ‘Modern’ MTG Format Comes to Plainville!

Friday Night MODERN – Every Friday at Battleground Games & Hobbies in Plainville, MA.
Due to the explosion in popularity of the Modern format, the solid turnouts to our once a month Modern FNM, and demand from the community, Battleground’s Plainville location will be hosting Modern tournaments EVERY FRIDAY effective immediately.
This Friday, March 7th, at 7:15 there will be a Modern FNM to accompany the usual Standard FNM at 7:30.
The last Friday of each month will hold a $10.00 Win-a-Box tournament for both formats.

Betrayal at House on the Hill quickly builds suspense and excitement as players explore a haunted mansion of their own design, encountering spirits and frightening omens that foretell their fate. With an estimated one hour playing time, Betrayal at House on the Hill is ideal for parties, family gatherings or casual fun with friends.
Betrayal at House on the Hill is a tile game that allows players to build their own haunted house room by room, tile by tile, creating a new thrilling game board every time. The game is designed for three to six people, each of whom plays one of six possible characters.
Secretly, one of the characters betrays the rest of the party, and the innocent members of the party must defeat the traitor in their midst before it’s too late! Betrayal at House on the Hill will appeal to any game player who enjoys a fun, suspenseful, and strategic game.
